WordiGo is a brain-teasing word game to challenge your vocabulary.
Progressively solve 3-14 letter words using clues, hints, and intelligent guesswork. If you think you are good in English – or want to get better – find out how far you can go!
HOW TO PLAY
Select a vowel by tapping on it. WordiGo will choose a consonant. The two letters will remain constant throughout the game.
WordiGo will now give you a 3-letter word, in which the selected vowel and consonant are visible. Several words may fit the empty slot, so you have to test your luck.
To place a letter in the slot, tap the slot. When it enlarges, tap the letter you wish to select. You can also slide the letter from the deck to the slot.
Each wrong guess costs 5 coins. You have 150 coins in your wallet and the full deck of letters to choose from.
When you guess the 3-letter word right, you get 30 bonus coins and a new 4-letter word to crack. Solving the 4-letter word would gain 40 coins (4x10).
When a new word appears, the previous word remains in your hand. Letters present in the new word are shown in green, those absent are in red. This narrows the number of possible solutions.
On solving a 5-letter word, you are rewarded with a hint card. Hint cards contain a letter in the current word that was not present in the previous word (or inform you when there is no such letter).
Once won, hint cards remain on the deck for use in subsequent rounds. Additional cards are won every third round. The catch: Each time you use a card, it costs 30 coins.
The game escalates by adding one letter in each round. Both English and American spellings are in use. Hyphenated and derivative words are more likely to appear in later rounds.
You can refresh the word for 50 coins or restart the game at any point.
Your level of play is determined by coins collected. Every 250 points is a milestone.
The game ends when you solve a 14-letter word. It also ends if you run out of coins.
